PROVIDENCE, R.I. — The NYIT men's lacrosse team was well-represented on Friday night in the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association North-South Senior All-Star Game.

NYIT seniors Tom Brennan, Matt Chanenchuk and Ian Prate all competed for the North, which was led by Bears coach Bill Dunn and assistant coach Tim Tuttle.

The squad lost to the South, 20-12, at Providence College.

The event included Division I and II competition.

Brennan, Chanenchuk and Prate all captained the Bears as seniors this past season and earned first-team All-ECAC honors.

Dunn earned ECC Coach of the Year honors and guided the Bears to their second straight unbeaten league title in 2018.

"It was a fitting and memorable experience for all involved to end their college careers," Dunn said. "Ian, Matt and Tom played very well and represented NYIT with distinction."
