ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The NYIT women's lacrosse team remained unbeaten in East Coast Conference play with a 19-8 win at Roberts Wesleyan on Friday afternoon.

Katie Meinecke had six goals and an assist, Alyssa Milano had four goals and Brooke Basso and Lexi Ruiz had three goals apiece.

Lauren Young, the reigning IWLCA Division II Defensive Player of the Week, made 10 saves.

The 14th-ranked Bears improved to 12-1 overall and 5-0 in the ECC.

NYIT is tied with sixth-ranked LIU Post (9-1, 5-0) for the league's top spot. The Pioneers will host the Bears in the regular-season finale on April 29.
