HUNT VALLEY, Md. — Erin Smith and Karie Znaniecki collected their second-team All-American awards from the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association in a banquet on Saturday night.

Smith, the East Coast Conference Defensive Player of the Year, started all 19 games during the inaugural season for the Bears. She produced one goal, 41 groundballs, 35 draw controls and 25 caused turnovers in her final collegiate season.

Znaniecki, a first-team All-ECC selection along with Smith, had a team-leading 102 points on 49goals and 53 assists. The point total ranked second in the league, trailing only Roberts Wesleyan's Cassley Jackowski (118).

Like Smith, Znaniecki joined the Bears for a lone season after a standout career at Dowling College, which ceased operations in June 2016.
