OLD WESTBURY, N.Y. — Shannon Donovan and Alyssa Milano are now atop the NYIT women's lacrosse record books.

Each scored a program-record-matching seven goals as the Bears comfortably defeated Southern New Hampshire, 20-4, on Saturday at President's Stadium.

The Bears (3-1) have now won three straight games, with goalie Ashley Miller earning the victory in each.

Donovan and Milano's seven goals apiece matched the output by Karie Znaniecki on March 23, 2017, in a 14-7 win at Southern New Hampshire for the most in a single game in NYIT history.

Of course, Znaniecki had program records with nine assists and 11 points on Saturday, the former topping the assists mark established by Lexi Ruiz a week earlier against St. Thomas Aquinas.

The 20-goal barrage fell one shy of matching the program record scored against Chestnut Hill last season.
