Women's lacrosse remains 16th, men slip to 18th in weekly coaches polls

OLD WESTBURY, N.Y. — The NYIT women's lacrosse team remained 16th in Monday's weekly coaches poll, while the men slipped to No. 18 in their rankings.

The women earned convincing victories against Southern Connecticut State (19-13) and Southern New Hampshire (20-4) in the past week.

The latter outburst included Karie Znaniecki setting a program record with nine assists and 11 points and Shannon Donovan and Alyssa Milano each matching the program record with seven goals.

The men dipped to 2-4 on the season with a 13-7 loss at Seton Hill on Saturday. They had been tied for 14th last week.
