OLD WESTBURY, N.Y. — New graduates Kelly McQuail, Alyssa Milano and Karie Znaniecki will play as a representative of the NYIT women's lacrosse team one final time.
The trio has been invited to participate in the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Association Division II Senior All-Star Game at Tierney Field at U.S. Lacrosse Headquarters in Sparks, Md., on June 2 at 1 p.m.
It will be the middle game of a tripleheader that includes the Division I and Division III All-Star Games. Admission is free. The games also will be streamed at IWLCA-tv.com.
McQuail, a defender, earned first-team All-ECC and second-team IWLCA all-region honors. She tallied 15 goals, five assists, 44 ground balls, 78 draw controls and 23 caused turnovers in 18 games (17 starts) this past season.
Milano is the ECC Attacker of the Year and a first-team IWLCA all-region selection. She departs NYIT as the program's career record-holder for goals.
Znaniecki earned first-team All-ECC and second-team IWLCA all-region. She tallied 117 points this past season, including a program single-game-record 11 points twice in March.
