Jacquelyn Ardolino enters her first season with the NYIT women's lacrosse program in 2017.
Ardolino spent four seasons at attack with the NCAA Division I Pride of Hofstra University from 2010-2013. In three years (sat out 2012 due to injury) the Shirley, N.Y. native played in 31 games, taking 66 shots, and totaling 27 goals. She finished her career with 32 points after adding five assists and scooped up six groundballs to accompany two caused turnovers. In all semesters at Hofstra she earned the CAA Commissioner's Academic Award and was also named to the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll.
A dual major in Speech Language Hearing Sciences and Linguistics and Disability Studies, Ardolino earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in 2014 and remained at Hofstra to earn her Masteres of Arts in Forensic Linguistics in May 2016.
In her spare time she volunteers with the Smithtown Middle School girls lacrosse program and is also a camp counselor/coordinator at Moriches and Smithtown Youth Organization Camps. Since 2009 she has also served as a game official in Suffolk County and is a manager at Beach Hut Raw Bar and Grill.
