Emily Pepe enteres her first season with the NYIT women's lacrosse team in 2017 as a volunteer assistant coach.
Pep spent last season as an assistant coach with the Farmingdale State College women's lacrosse program, organizing and overseeing practices, creating scouting repoints, recruiting and primarily working with the offensive unit. Prior to her stint with the Rams she played/coached the Italian National Team and was also a Graduate Assistant Coach at Sacred Heart University after spending three seasons with the Pioneers.
Her career at Sacred Heart was decorated with accolades and record as the East Quogue, N.Y. native finished ranked 7th all time in Pioneer history with 88 career assists, and 77 career goals for 165 points. Her assists record ranks her 2nd overall in women's lacrosse history which was helped with a single season assist record in 2011-12 of 43. She received Northeast Conference First-Team All-Conference accolades two times and was a NEC two-time athlete of the week. Before transferring to SHU, Pepe spent one season at NCAA Division I Jacksonville University where she totaled 11 goals and nine assists.
A double alumna of Sacred Heart, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Media Studies in 2013 before receiving a Masters in Sports Communication and Media in 2015.
